Golddog. 1325 posts · Joined 2003. #18 · Mar 20, 2012. My CZ 75 SA trigger may not quite match the best 1911's, but it's certainly at least as good as run-of-the-mill 1911 pulls, and the gun has been totally reliable through thousands of rounds, which may not happen with a 9mm 1911.
For real. The cz shoots like a dream but the slide is kinda thin and hard to rack sometimes. The G19 works consistently and easily. It's not amazing, but it always works and works well, and as expected. It feels a little light, compared to the cz, but shoots GREAT. It really depends on what feels right to you.

I think the CZ has better grip ergonomics, and the trigger can be worked to be superior to the 92. Additionally, the 92's slide-mounted de-cocker can make for some painful malfunction clearance drills as you rip your racking hand back along the slide (although the PX-4 is worse).

I stuck with the smaller of the backstraps, since I have smaller hands. And of course, as with almost every CZ, it points naturally. The CZ P-07 inherited the slide-in-frame of all the other CZ 75 style pistols, which I have found to be quite easy to run. CZ, over the decades, has perfected this design and made it incredibly durable and reliable.
My own opinion is that the CZ 9MM's are much better than the Glock offerings. Before you light up the torch's and get pitchforks, I have a Glock 21 that is a great .45. I also have a Gen 4 G17. The CZ 75b is just better all around. The P-01 and PCR are too. For me all are more accurate and just feel better.
